Dark eyed Juncos are cute little birds, rather retiring and like to feed on the ground, scratching around in the grass and leaves for seeds and bugs. In this slideshow, most of the birds are Dark Eyed Jucos, with a few images captured of the Oregon Junco. La Crosse Wisconsin is a little too far East for the Oregon Junco's range, but occasionally they do show up here, being blown East in storms or other pressures.
