Cedar Waxwings got their name from the red waxy looking tips of their flight feathers. Very beautiful birds, friendly and not too shy of people, Cedar Waxwings fly around in flocks and strip cherry trees, crab apples and other berry bushes of fruit in minutes. They are fun to watch, unless of course, your a cherry tree grower watching these little bandits put you in the poorhouse. I call them Americas smoothest bird. Enjoy.
